The Duchess

James Flood built and hand-carved this beautiful boat. He regularly goes out on the intercoastal and draws the attention of many south Florida locals and tourists.

The Royal Charles

James' favorite ship is the Royal Charles, a small vessel which he regularly sails up and down the intercoastal. He continually upgrades and repaints the Royal Charles in his spare time. This ship was designed and built to reflect the beloved flag ship of Charles II, circa late seventeenth century. This unique ship currently resides on the Miami River, docked near the 27th Ave. Bridge in Miami, Florida.
